In 2011, I had a problem. That’s true. I was dealing with special considerations about my music, because I had a problem: There was the music I loved (funk, disco, groovy bass lines, but also new electro genres, and house music), the music I produced which was different, and the music I played in clubs, which was different again. In this album, these 3 kinds of music now stick together, and for the first time of my life I achieved a important goal : now only producing the music I love (with my signature) but also being able to play my music in club without second thought. For the first time I’m proud to be able to my music in my Dj sets. After more than 12 years of music production. This is the reason why this album is a very important baby to me.
Back in 2007, I composed an album called “Move On”, I was very proud, because it was my first album, but pride went with impatience, and some of the songs, as good as could be, were release with all the beauty but immaturity they implied. 4 Years later, I thought I couldn’t leave them apart, and that’s why I completely re-shaped them and included them in this new album (hence the mention “2012 Album Version”, in the credits).
I took me about 6 months to try to give this album a timeless aspect. Indeed, it is obviously inspired by different electro influences you may catch, but still has this personal stamp in it, and I hope you will find it original in some ways. This is a very important project for me, as it marks a new kind of production, techniques, melodies, and sounding quality, as I try to intensively push myself always further every time (or music, and life generally, would be boring !). Some of the tracks in this album end a list of 15 different versions before being satisfactory.
I do hope you’ll enjoy listening to this album as much as I loved composing it. I also included in this physical copy some bonuses you won’t find in the digital album.
